How amazing it is to witness how life unfolds just before our very eyes and yet we find ourselves dumbfounded by surprises--unexpected turns and bends--and breathtaking spectacles. Some surprises make us really gasp for air in laughter; others make us cringe. Either way, life often catches us unguarded.
On one end, we learn of births, re-births and endless transformation of people, things and situations. On the other, we learn of dying, death and stagnation. Each of which bringing a tone...a hue...a shade to life. Each of which serves as a driving force that propels us and life itself.
As we take this unpredictable road called life, we carry with us the power to add color in it...not just in ours but also in others. Reminds me of young teens carrying spray paints and doing mural paintings on street walls. We are like these street kids. We are painting our world...our life...with colors that are in our hands.
Yes, we may not know where the road will lead us, but we have a say on how we'll make it as colorful or dull as we wish.
