When everything fails and we feel that all our efforts towards a child are in vain, our faith in the child begins.
At this lowest moment of our being a teacher, our genuine trust to the child's person-hood comes in. At these dark hours, our authentic belief in the child's capacity to bring about positive change to himself is tested.
IF we survive the test, we begin to see the child differently and we allow ourselves to renew our relationship with the child. Only through faith, trust and paradigm shift we are able to move forward and find new doors to open up for the child. There's no other way.
As teachers, we have to die first so that we may let others live.
